Our weekend and special events give you the chance to connect with academic programs, explore campus life and meet students and faculty. Weekend visits are primarily programmed based on academic college, but most are open to any prospective student regardless of your academic interest.

Our Summer Visit Day events will be offered on July 17 and Aug. 7. Programming will include an academic resource fair, admission presentation/student panel, breakout session and a student-led campus tour.

Discover NDSU

Discover Days are designed for prospective students and their families to experience NDSU firsthand. Join us for a resource fair, welcome, campus tour, academic session and meal on campus. You’ll also have the chance to connect with current students, faculty and staff, and learn about academics, student life, scholarships and more. It’s a great way to get a comprehensive look at what NDSU has to offer before making your college decision.

Bison Bash and Homecoming Parade

Join in on NDSU's Homecoming festivities!

Bison Bash — a fair with inflatable games, balloon creations, food trucks and activities (4-6:30 p.m.)

Homecoming Parade — held on campus this year, the Office of Admission will have a limited number of front-row seats for the parade at the President’s house, and participants will get to take home their own NDSU lawn chair (starts at 6 p.m.).

Indigenous Student Visit Day

Join us for a special visit day designed for Indigenous students, families and community members. Connect with students, faculty and staff while learning about support services, student life and the admissions process. The event includes a resource fair, welcome, campus tour and lunch.
