The NDSU Career Center is scheduled to host its annual Part-Time Jobs Fair on Thursday, Sept. 4.

The event is slated for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Memorial Union Great Plains Ballroom. It is open to NDSU students only.

The Part-Time Jobs Fair includes about 60 primarily local employers. Participating businesses include NDSU Dining Services, Sanford Health, Scheels, Western Products and Fargo Automation. More than 840 students attended the event last year.

“One of the biggest questions from parents when they come for freshmen orientation is about available part-time jobs,” said Jill Wilkey, Career Center director. “This is a fair of interest to a lot of students.”

Wilkey said the fair is an opportunity for on- and off-campus employers to advertise part-time jobs and hire NDSU students.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
