The NDSU Department of Visual Arts and the Memorial Union Gallery is scheduled to present an exhibition of work by the Spring 2015 Visual Arts Baccalaureate candidates, April 14-May 1 in the NDSU Memorial Union Gallery.

A public opening reception is set for Tuesday, April 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Each artist will speak about their capstone project beginning at 5:30 p.m., and refreshments will be provided.

Eight graduating NDSU students—Mataya Armstrong, Gretchen Barker, Thomas Brennan, Jonathan Carlson, Michael Duncan, Rosalin Kelly, Alea Mettler, and Zachary Sandberg—present projects in a variety of media. The exhibition is the product of years of effort and artistic evolution by these emerging artists.

A public panel comprised of recent NDSU graduates is scheduled for Friday, May 1, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Memorial Union Gallery. The panel will discuss navigating the job market and exploring creative careers.

The gallery is located on the second floor of the NDSU Memorial Union, located at 1401 Administrative Ave. Visitor parking is available in the South Union Lot; free parking is available all day on weekends and after 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Hours are: Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Thursday: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
