Loretta Heuer, associate dean of nursing, recently was appointed to the North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) Education Committee. Heuer was among three nurses appointed to the committee by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. Her two-year term began in Nov. 2010 and will end Oct. 2012 with an option for reappointment for another two-year term.
As a member of the NDBON Education Committee, Heuer will take part in making recommendations to NDBON related to nursing education programs. The committee also is responsible for promoting innovation in nursing practice and education through regulation and collaboration with stakeholders.
