Outdoor Skills with Hunter Education Camp
Registration opens March 1, 2026
For ages 11-16
This camp fulfills the requirement of the North Dakota Hunter Education Certification. All campers will participate in classroom-style sessions and live fire sessions in shotgun, muzzle loader and archery. There is required work to complete before camp begins. Information will be mailed out to participants. The required hours of Hunter Education instruction are a minimum of 14 hours. Learn basic survival and first aid skills. Learn basic trapping skills and tree stand safety.

Camps begin with check-in at 4 p.m. Central time and end at 11 a.m. Central time.
Cost
$375
A deposit of $50 is required at online registration. Deposits are nonrefundable.
A confirmation will be sent via email upon receipt of your registration. All correspondence will be through the email address you provide to UltraCamp when you set up your profile online.
4-H membership is NOT required for participation. Scholarships are available for income eligible families. Please contact the Center for 4-H office for more information 701-231-4361.
