Parenting the Love and Logic Way®
This class focuses on teaching children of all ages the skills of empathy, respect, and limit setting. Topics include handling misbehavior, use of clear communication, avoiding power struggles, teaching responsibility, and the use of logic and consequences. Use Love and Logic techniques to support kids to own and solve their problems, help kids learn from their mistakes, reduce back talk and begging, guide your children to complete chores without pay, and stay calm when kids do upsetting things.
Registration is required, possible childcare available (contact Sophia), and this class is Early Childhood Workforce/Growing Futures credits approved.
Class Dates
Mondays: April 13, 20, 27 & May 4, 11, 18
Cost
This class is free of charge for North Dakota residents.
