Description

Welcome to Nourish!

As we age, we may not be as active as we used to be. Maybe we have put on a few extra pounds, or we’ve developed health issues such as high blood pressure or diabetes.

The Nourish program provides North Dakotan adults of any age (especially those age 50 and older in rural counties) with information and strategies about nutrition.

You will learn how to eat more nutritiously and be more physically active so you can reduce your risk of developing chronic diseases.

Nourish will be available as an online, self-paced course in 2024 or as a face-to-face program being offered in many rural North Dakota counties.

Online Course

  • Registration for the spring online course is OPEN!
  • Take this course completely online, at your own pace and in the comfort of your home.
  • Enrollment instructions are sent to registered participants.
  • Enrollment in the spring course ends April 30.
  • Although enrollment ends April 30, enrolled participants will have until June 28, 2024 to complete the spring course.

Face-to-Face Course

The project is supported by a Rural Health and Safety Education program grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
