Cover Crop Summit 2026 - A Practical Approach to Cover Crops
Join us for the 2026 Cover Crop Summit in Dickinson or at your local REC! If you are curious about the practicality of cover crops in your operation, this hybrid event could be for you. Learn about recent research updates, economic considerations, and hear from individual farmer and rancher experiences. Lunch is free and will be available at Dickinson and all satellite host locations.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required to help determine the count for food & drinks at each location.
Locations
This event will be held in-person in Dickinson, however, there will be satellite hosts if folks want to attend there. The list of remote locations to attend the event include:
- Carrington REC
- Central Grasslands REC
- Hettinger REC
- Langdon REC
- North Central REC
- Williston REC
- Peltier Complex in Fargo
- There is also a Zoom option to join from home
Sessions will be recorded.
A free lunch will be provided to all attendees in Dickinson as well as those in-person at the RECs / Peltier Complex Remote Host locations.

Student Contest Details
Are you a student interested in sharing your work with farmers? Participate in our Student Fact Sheet Contest! Participants are asked to prepare a 1-2 sided fact sheet to share with farmers about cover crops. This could be related to your own research or pulled from other sources. Students from all over the state are welcome to participate. In-person attendance at one of the locations is encouraged but not required. Handouts will be available to attendants at all in-person locations, and digital copies will be available virtually. There is a cash prize for the top Fact Sheet.
