Study with professional writers and educators from North Dakota State University, Minnesota State University, and the University of North Dakota. The camp will culminate in a public reading on Friday.
All students entering grades 4-6 (in the fall) may participate and grades 7-12 (in the fall) may participate, regardless of skill level. Graduated seniors may participate as well. Daily sessions include fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, screenwriting, song writing, graphic novels, horror writing, and much more.

$260 in-person; $200 Virtual - Youth Camp #3 (grades 4-6): July 20 - 24, 2026, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The cost of camp includes lunch (for teens), snacks, writing materials and a t-shirt. Lodging is not provided.
A limited number of scholarships are available. No one will be turned away for financial reasons. A new option this year is a donation link for anyone that wants to contribute to camp scholarships. Contact camp director Jamee Larson for more information.
