Document Imaging

In an effort to reclaim physical work space, storage space, and take steps toward a goal of becoming a paperless campus, NDSU launched a document imaging initiative utilizing enterprise content management software called ImageNow (now referred to as "Perceptive Content") by Lexmark Enterprise Software. Paper documents such as applications, forms, appeals, meeting minutes, and numerous other official records are now scanned and converted into electronic images that are stored on a secure server and can be easily searched for and viewed by users. This document imaging project has resulted in gains in physical space once occupied by filing cabinets and a significant reduction in the amount of paper used by departments.

This web page is meant to provide information related to NDSU's document imaging project for both participating and interested campus departments. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like more information about document imaging and how it is being used at NDSU.
