Fargo, N.D. NDSU Challey School of Music is pleased to announce the participation in a retirement gala concert on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Floyd Flute Family Celebration honored Dr. Angeleita Floyd’s retirement and her 33 years of dedicated service at the University of Northern Iowa.
North Dakota State University Adjunct Professor Jenny Poehls performed alongside 64 former and current students. Jenny received her Master of Music in flute performance from UNI in 2008. The performance featured two new pieces commissioned in honor of Dr. Floyd.
