Chelsey Ewen joined the NDSU Division of Performing Arts staff in Fall of 2023, bringing over seven years of experience in marketing, advertising, and strategic storytelling. A native of Minot, ND, Chelsey’s interest in the arts started from a young age. She grew up playing clarinet, singing in choir, drawing, and taking any art classes that could fit into her schedule.
After graduating from NDSU in 2016, Chelsey worked as the Communications Coordinator for The Arts Partnership – a position that cultivated a deeper interest in and passion for the local arts community. She was named YWCA’s Woman of the Year in the Arts & Culture category in 2018.
From 2019 – 2023, Chelsey was the Lead Content Writer for the marketing agency Stray Media Group, where she wrote a variety of content to promote businesses across the Red River Valley.
In her free time, Chelsey enjoys traveling, cooking, thrifting, and challenging her husband Mike to a game of cribbage. She also serves as a board member of the Fargo-Moorhead Choral Artists.
