James Fornes re-joined the NDSU Division of Performing Arts in Summer 2023 as the concert facilities manager. He coordinates use of space and events within the recital hall, as well as runs the box office for the Division.
Previously he was the theatre program director at Central Cass Public schools where he helped to rebuild the program from the ground up as well as coordinated the use of their joint school and community theater space.
In addition, he has worked as a freelance theatre artist, primarily as a director or stage manager, for many companies in the Fargo/Moorhead and Twin Cities areas. Some of which include: the University of Minnesota, Steppingstone Theatre Company, Wayward Theatre Company, Richland Public Schools, FMCT, Theatre B and many others.
