NDSU will celebrate National Coming Out Week beginning Oct. 11, which marks National Coming Out Day, a day that commemorates the struggles of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people in our society to achieve equal rights and protections in the United States. NDSU has planned a week of educational and social events sponsored by the Equity and Diversity Center, Safe Zone Ally Program, Ten Percent Society student organization, Pride Network and Fargo-Moorhead community groups. Monday, Oct. 12
• "Faith and Sexuality Brown Bag," noon, Memorial Union Hidatsa room
• Community play: "Laramie Project: 10 Years Later," 7 p.m., Fargo Theatre
Tuesday, Oct. 13
• "LGBTQ Youth Suicide Prevention Brown Bag," 12:30 p.m., Memorial Union Arikara room
