Barry C. Pemberton, graduate student in the Department of Chemistry and Molecular Biology, has been named the 2010 Graduate Student Research Award recipient from the NDSU College of Science and Mathematics.

Pemberton is a third-year graduate student carrying out his doctoral studies under the guidance of Sivaguru Jayaraman, assistant professor of chemistry and molecular biology. His doctoral work involves the use of water-soluble nano-cavities to control light initiated reactions.
