Registration is open for the sixth annual Teen Creative Writing Camp hosted by the NDSU English department. Students entering grades 7-12 can participate, regardless of their skill level. Graduated seniors also may participate.

Session one will be held June 24 through June 28, and session two will be held Aug. 5 through Aug. 9, with both sessions scheduled to last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Daily sessions will include fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, fantasy, screenwriting, song writing and graphic novels.

The cost for an in-person session on campus is $230, which covers all supplies, a camp t-shirt, meals and snacks. The cost to attend a session virtually is $180.

This year students in grades 4-6 also will be able to register for a camp session scheduled for June 17-20 from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $100 for both in-person and virtual attendance.

Register for a session and complete the required forms by visiting the creative writing camp website. Scholarships are available, but spots will be limited.
