In-state lodging rate change effective August 1, 2025

Effective August 1, 2025, NDCC has stricken the 90% of the GSA rate for in-state lodging and is no longer applicable. The current GSA rate for North Dakota is $110 plus applicable state and/or mandatory fees.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has released an update to Policies 501 (Expense Reimbursement Relating to Telework, Mileage & Miscellaneous Expenses), 505 (Reimbursement for Meals and Lodging) and 511 (Use of Personal Vehicle). Effective August 1, 2025, the reimbursement rate for in-state lodging changed from $99.00 per night (90% of GSA rate) to the full GSA rate of $110.00.
