Ramsey County 4-H Shooting Sports provides youth with hands-on learning experiences that build confidence, responsibility, and leadership through safe and educational shooting sports activities. Participants receive instruction from certified volunteer coaches in disciplines such as archery, air rifle, and shotgun, focusing on safety, marksmanship, and personal development.
Our program goes beyond competition—youth learn life skills such as goal setting, decision making, teamwork, and respect for others. Members participate in local and state events, community service projects, and leadership opportunities that strengthen character and community connection.
The program is open to all 4-H members and emphasizes education, safety, and positive youth development in a supportive, family-oriented environment. Equipment and resources are often provided through local partnerships and fundraising efforts to ensure accessibility for all interested youth.
Ramsey County 4-H Shooting Sports is part of the broader North Dakota 4-H program, which empowers young people with the motto “Learn by Doing.”
