Looking for a Summer REU?

The College of Arts and Sciences offers a wide variety of REU programs each summer.  Our programs specialize in research and mentoring for undergraduate students and each opportunity below is unique to its research team.  If you are looking for a great way to spend your summer, come to Fargo and join us for a full-time, hands-on research experience.


Collaborations in Discipline-based Education Research

The CiDER REU program is for any undergraduate interested in exploring the learning and teaching of STEM at the undergraduate level. Learn more here

Green Chemistry

The Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Coatings and Polymeric Materials at North Dakota State University will host 10 undergraduate students in an interdisciplinary summer research program focused on Green Chemistry. Learn more here.

Pollination Nation

The Bowsher and Greenlee Labs in the Department of Biological Sciences are excited to invite applications for undergraduate research positions during summer 2023. Students will assist with projects investigating the development and health of agriculturally-beneficial bee pollinators (blue orchard mason bees, Osmia lignaria; alfalfa leafcutting bees, Megachile rotundata; and honey bees, Apis mellifera).
