Our Mission
The NDSU Campus Arboretum is a living laboratory dedicated to advancing plant knowledge, education, research, conservation, and community engagement. Through diverse and thoughtfully curated plant collections, the Arboretum provides opportunities to study, teach, and experience trees, shrubs, and landscapes suited to the northern Great Plains. We promote plant diversity, environmental stewardship, and resilient landscapes while connecting the NDSU community and the public with the value and importance of plants in our lives and communities.
