Event Description

Measles is making a comeback in the United States—what’s driving this outbreak, and how can healthcare professionals respond effectively? This webinar examines the 2026 measles surge, highlighting current epidemiological hotspots and state-based vaccination rates. Participants will review the clinical presentation and management of measles—including the use of Vitamin A—and discuss post-exposure prophylaxis with immune globulin. The session will also cover essential infection control strategies to prevent measles transmission in healthcare settings and provide practical resources for addressing vaccine misinformation and disinformation. This webinar is designed for clinicians, public health practitioners, and anyone involved in outbreak response or patient care who wants actionable strategies to help stop the spread.
