Activity Description
After completing this module, participants will be able to:
- Identify common patient concerns regarding influenza and HPV vaccines, including misconceptions about safety, effectiveness, and necessity, and describe evidence-based responses.
- Identify factors contributing to vaccine hesitancy, including social influences, misinformation, and cognitive drivers, and summarize how these factors affect individual and community vaccination decisions.
- Identify factors that influence vaccine acceptance, including healthcare professional recommendations and patient hesitancy, and describe strategies and tools to improve vaccine communication.
- Explain core concepts of motivational interviewing (MI) and demonstrate how MI techniques can be applied in vaccine conversations.

Continuing Education
This module is approved for 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM, or a certificate of completion for individuals who do not need CME credit. Each participant may only claim credit once per module. The post-test must be completed to earn credit.

Post-Test and Evaluation

After viewing all videos, please complete the post-test that corresponds to the type of credit you wish to claim. Each participant may claim credit or a certificate only once for completing this module. The post-test is required to receive credit or a certificate.
