Mark your calendars: Flu and COVID-19 vaccines will be available on campus for NDSU faculty and staff!

Thrifty White Pharmacy will be on campus three days in October to provide flu and COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer) to NDSU faculty and staff who want them.

Pre-registration is required with the corresponding access code (see below). You must register no later than midnight the day before the clinic.

Registration Instructions

  1. Click on the link to the preferred clinic above and enter in the access code provided.

  2. Click the green "Openings" tab and select a time.

  3. Complete the registration form. Put "NA" for employee ID.

  4. Do NOT fill in the information for State ID. Instead, click the box that attests to having a Social Security card. DO NOT bring your Social Security card to your flu shot clinic.

  5. Fill in the insurance information (if Medicare populates as the default, click the option to enter other ins). Under the 'Medical Insurance Payer ID' just put NA.

  6. Choose vaccine type - only if you are over 65 will it allow you to choose the Senior Seasonal Flu shot.

  7. Answer the questions.

  8. You will have to do a security check and then your appointment will be confirmed.

Vaccine Recommendations

Everyone ages 6 months and older should get the flu shot every year. September and October are an ideal time to get vaccinated to provide protection against severe disease associated with flu throughout the respiratory season.

Adults ages 19 and older should get a 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccine, with a second dose received six months later for adults ages 65 and older. Much like the flu shot, the updated formula targets circulating COVID-19 variants, so it’s expected to give us better protection, especially against severe disease.

This clinic is a convenient option for NDSU employees to receive their seasonal vaccines on campus. If you work for NDSU, this clinic is for you!

Students (including graduate assistants and student employees) are encouraged to attend one of the Flu Shot Blitz clinics through Student Health Service, or contact their office to receive vaccines.

While most major insurers are covering the updated vaccines, it is recommended to check with your health insurance provider if you have questions about coverage.

Registration is required to attend these clinics, and must be completed before midnight the day before the clinic. If you are unable to attend one of the clinic dates, check vaccinefinder.org for vaccine providers near you, or contact your primary care provider or local pharmacy.

These clinics are for faculty and staff only. Students are encouraged to attend the Flu Shot Blitz or contact Student Health Service for vaccination appointments.
