The NDSU Computer Science Department offers two programs related to cyber security.
Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security
In conjunction with Minot State University and the University of North Dakota, the NDSU Computer Science Department offers a graduate certificate in cyber security. This certificate is well suited to working practitioners or to be pursued concurrently with other graduate studies. Students take three core courses, one at each of the collaborating institutions, and one elective course. This certificate program gives students a broad foundation of cyber security.
Department Issued Recognition (B.S.)
As part of a bachelor of science in computer science degree program students can take a sequence of three classes focused on cyber security. Upon successful completion of these classes they will receive a department issued recognition indicating their competence in cyber security.
Masters and Doctoral
The NDSU Department of Computer Science is well equipped to support graduate student research in cyber security related topics leading to a Master of Science (M.S.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in computer science or software engineering.
