M.Ed. Teacher Licensure Option

The Teacher Licensure Option (TLO) is designed for candidates who already hold a degree in a teachable major and want to complete professional education coursework to earn teacher licensure. The program aligns with North Dakota licensure standards and may transfer to other states. Additional content coursework may be required based on transcript evaluation.

Full admission requires passing Praxis Core Academic Skills exams and completion of youth experience hours. The program is accredited by CAEP and approved by the North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis at any time of year.
