NDSU Junior Nursing Students Participate in “Baby Boot Camp” to Prepare for Clinical Rotations

Junior nursing students at North Dakota State University took part in Baby Boot Camp, a hands-on workshop designed to help them build critical skills before beginning maternal newborn and pediatric clinical rotations.

“Baby Boot Camp is an engaging way to prepare our nursing students for the unique challenges of caring for mothers, infants, and children,” said Dr Shannon Harriger, faculty member in the NDSU School of Nursing.

“It allows them to strengthen their skills in a safe, supportive environment so they feel confident stepping into their clinical experiences.” Said Dr Abigail Brunsvold, faculty member in the NDSU School of Nursing.

Baby Boot Camp is one of several innovative learning opportunities offered through the NDSU School of Nursing, which continues to play a vital role in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals for North Dakota and beyond.
