Nominating Group: National Residence Hall Honorary
Major: Business Administration

Erick Carlson, Big Lake, Minn., is majoring in business administration in the College of Business. He is an inducted member of the National Residence Hall Honorary and has additionally been involved with the Residence Hall Association, currently serving as the president and previously as the administrative director, along with being involved with the American Red Cross Club and the NDSU Tennis Club. Outside of campus involvement, he has volunteered for organizations including the Goods for the Herd Food Pantry, Project Linus and Heart-N-Soul and works as a front desk assistant in the Office of Student Engagement. Following graduation, Erick plans to pursue a career in higher education and student affairs. He is thrilled to represent NDSU on Homecoming Court to share the involvement opportunities on campus, meet new individuals and celebrate what it means to be a Bison.

Nominating Group: THINC – The Holistic, Integrative, Naturopathic Club
Major: Nutrition Science

Alexa Case, Sleepy Eye, Minn., is majoring in nutrition science in the College of Health and Human Sciences. She serves as vice president of THINC and Women in Wellness, along with being involved in the Pre-Medicine Association, Women’s Activist Organization and Volunteer Network. Alexa has built extensive experience through undergraduate research in the Healthy Aging North Dakota Lab, internships, departmental employment and healthcare-related positions. She plans to pursue medical school with the goal of specializing in gynecology, endocrinology, immunology or a related field. Alexa is honored to serve on Homecoming Court to represent her amazing experiences and allow other students to experience the same. She appreciates the opportunities, support and community of NDSU that have made college feel like home.

Nominating Group: Volunteer Network
Major: Social Work and Human Development and Family Science

Aidan Gallagher, Sartell, Minn., is majoring in social work and human development and family science in the College of Health and Human Sciences. He serves as president of Volunteer Network and has dedicated over two years to connecting students with meaningful service opportunities throughout the community. Through his leadership, Aidan has helped advance the organization’s mission of engagement, service and civic involvement. He plans to pursue a career in social work, focusing on helping youth. Aidan is grateful for the opportunity to represent NDSU and enhance the Homecoming experience for students, alumni, staff and community.

Major: Business Administration and Finance

Philip Job, Freeport, Minn., is majoring in both business administration and finance in the College of Business. He serves as treasurer of Mortar Board Honor Society, a College of Business student senator in Student Government, a College of Business ambassador, an active member of NRHH and a participant in Chi Alpha. Throughout his time at NDSU, Philip has balanced leadership and service with professional experiences that include working as an NDSU Extension student worker, summer camp counselor and customer service professional. He plans to pursue a career in banking or financial services, with the possibility of attending graduate or law school in the future. Philip is honored to represent first-generation students on Homecoming Court and celebrate the strong traditions and accomplishments of the NDSU community.

Nominating Group: Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority
Major: Nursing

Addie Lundin, Litchfield, Minn., is majoring in nursing in the College of Health and Human Sciences. She is an active member of Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority, where she serves as treasurer and chaplain, and is also involved in Bison Catholic, Chi Alpha and the Swing Dance Club. Addie is passionate about serving others and has volunteered with organizations including 4 Luv of Dog Rescue, Great Plains Food Bank, the North Dakota Corn Council’s Ag Day programs and Ag in the Classroom. Following graduation, she plans to become a pediatric ICU travel nurse, eventually earning her master’s degree to teach nursing courses. Being on Homecoming Court will allow Addie to inspire others to get involved and promote her sorority, Sigma Alpha, while sharing her love for NDSU.

Nominating Group: FarmHouse Fraternity
Major: Animal Science

Ty MacDonald, Bismarck, N.D., is majoring in animal science in the College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources. He serves as chaplain of FarmHouse Fraternity, president of the NDSU Judging Club, worship leader for Cru and is actively involved in the Livestock Judging Team, Ag Ambassadors, Animal Science Ambassadors, Blue Key Honor Society, Saddle and Sirloin, intramural sports and numerous community organizations. Ty has dedicated countless hours to volunteer service through churches, nonprofit organizations, livestock events and donor outreach programs. Following graduation, he plans to return to his family ranch and continue serving the agricultural community. Ty is excited to meet new students and alumni on Homecoming Court and showcase the positive impact that NDSU has on the community.

Nominating Group: Blue Key Honor Society
Major: Agricultural Technology and Biotechnology

Isaac Mauch, Thief River Falls, Minn., is majoring in both agricultural technology and biotechnology in the College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources. He is involved in Order of Omega, Alpha Tau Omega, the Pickleball Club, Running Club and the Microbiology and Biotechnology Club. Isaac has contributed to campus and community initiatives through his presidency of Volunteer Network, executive commissioner role on Student Government and extensive undergraduate research. He plans to continue his education in plant genetics and either continue as a researcher or use his knowledge back on the farm. Isaac has family members who are NDSU alumni, so serving on Homecoming Court is quite the honor. He is proud to show off the amazing organizations on campus and prove that you can be both involved and academically successful.

Nominating Group: Kappa Delta Sorority
Major: Interior Design

Ava McCarron, Forest Lake, Minn., is majoring in interior design in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is involved in Kappa Delta, Order of Omega Honor Society, the North Dakota Interior Designers organization, the American Society of Interior Designers, Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society and Letters of Love. Ava has worked in the Fargo community while also volunteering with Letters of Love, Girl Scouts, Feed My Starving Children and 4 Luv of Dog Rescue. She hopes to pursue a career in residential interior design and eventually own her own design business. Ava has always looked up to the members of Homecoming Court and is thrilled to be a role model for students, showing that they truly belong at NDSU.

Nominating Group: Engineering Ambassadors
Major: Industrial Engineering and Management

Ella Mork, Norwood Young America, Minn., is majoring in industrial engineering and management in the College of Engineering. She is actively involved as an engineering ambassador, served as treasurer and outreach chair of the Society of Women Engineers, was a 99th Little International contestant for Saddle and Sirloin and enjoys competing in intramural volleyball. Throughout her time at NDSU, Ella has gained professional experience through internships with Emerson and Bobcat in engineering roles. Following graduation this December, she plans to continue her engineering career while pursuing opportunities to travel through her job. Ella is honored to serve on Homecoming Court to represent students like her who balance academics, work and involvement while celebrating NDSU traditions.

Nominating Group: Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity
Major: Plant Science and Technology and Agricultural Economics

Andrew Myrdal, Edinburg, N.D., is majoring in plant science and technology (formerly crop and weed science) and agricultural economics in the College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources. He is actively involved in Alpha Gamma Rho, Saddle and Sirloin, Agronomy Club, Ag Ambassadors and Blue Key Honor Society. Andrew works at NDSU’s Animal Nutrition and Physiology Center and volunteers through numerous campus organizations and 4-H programs. After graduation, he plans to work in NDSU Extension and return to his family farm to continue contributing to the agricultural industry. Andrew is excited to be on Homecoming Court to showcase the amazing involvement available to students and get them excited to be a Bison. He also wants to make it a great experience for students and alumni alike.

Nominating Group: Mortar Board Honor Society
Major: Political Science

Emma Stewart, Rogers, Minn., is majoring in political science in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is involved in the Mortar Board Honor Society, Western Swing Dance Club, Cru, BridgeNDSU, NDSU Equestrian Club and the Horseman’s Association. Emma has served as a Bison Guide, volunteered with the North Dakota 4-H Hippology program and worked as a student employee in the Union Market. She hopes to attend law school and pursue a career as a criminal prosecution attorney. Emma is proud to represent NDSU on Homecoming Court to get students more involved in Homecoming, meet new people and showcase her Bison pride.

Nominating Group: Independent Nominee
Major: Exercise Science Graduate, Master of Athletic Training

Melanie VanHecke, Woodbury, Minn., is pursuing a Master of Athletic Training after earning her bachelor's degree in exercise science from the College of Health and Human Sciences. During her five years at NDSU, she has been actively involved as a Bison ambassador, yell leader and Welcome Week lead while also being involved in Tri Delta, Blue Key Honor Society, Exercise Science Club and the Pre PT/OT Club. Melanie has embraced opportunities to welcome new students, promote school spirit and help create a strong sense of community across campus. Following graduation, she plans to begin her career as an athletic trainer at the high school or collegiate level. Melanie is honored to represent NDSU's graduate student community on Homecoming Court and hopes to inspire others to get involved, celebrate Bison traditions and make the most of their experience at NDSU.

Nominating Group: Kappa Psi
Major: Pharmacy

Katie Wiekamp, Minot, N.D., is a pharmacy student in the College of Health and Human Sciences. She is an active member of Kappa Psi and the Pre-Pharmacy Club, gaining valuable experience as both a pharmacy intern and research intern. Katie is passionate about healthcare, research and serving her community through patient-centered care. Following graduation, she hopes to pursue a career as a research pharmacist. Katie is excited to serve on Homecoming Court to get further involved with students and organizations. She also has an extreme passion for football and loves the school spirit it brings out.
