International Student Support Services Fee

The International Student Support Services Fee allows the staff in the Office of International Student and Study Abroad Services to provide a comprehensive package of services and activities to serve students in F and J status at North Dakota State University and to be able to provide quality support to the international student population.  The fee is assessed per semester and provides operational and personnel costs directed at assisting students with immigration and other needs and specialized support, which aids them in being successful as both degree-seeking and short-term exchange visitors.  This includes, but is not limited to, salaries and benefits, technology support, and specialized immigration training.

Orientation Fee

The International Student Orientation Fee is charged in a student’s first semester and was implemented to provide new international students with the greatest assistance possible as they settle into their surroundings at NDSU and in Fargo.  As such, attendance at new international student orientation is required for all new students.  The new international student orientation includes an immigration information session, cultural activities, access and information to many important academic, social and health-related resources, including information about the NDUS-required health insurance, and it provides meals and interaction with peers, current students and ISSAS staff.

If you believe you have been charged any of these fees erroneously, please contact International Student and Study Abroad Services, to request the charge be reviewed.
