Elizabeth Auka Named State Forests Technician

Bottineau – The NDSU-North Dakota Forest Service welcomes Elizabeth Auka as the new State Forests Technician. In this role, Elizabeth will assist with all essential activities across the five State Forests, with a special emphasis on day-use and recreation areas. She will also assist the Towner State Nursery needs in the spring and fall seasons.
Elizabeth is a recent graduate of Valley City State University with a Bachelor’s in Wildlife and Fisheries Management. She brings skills and experience from working for Lake Metigoshe State Park and for the US Fish & Wildlife Service in north central North Dakota.
