NDSU student Sarah Kruse selected for Leadership Development Consultant position with Kappa Delta

NDSU student Sarah Kruse will be mentoring young women across the nation during the 2026-27 academic year.
Kruse, a member of the Kappa Delta NDSU Sigma Psi Chapter, has been selected by Kappa Delta Sorority to be a Leadership Development Consultant for the national organization.
While Greek life initially wasn’t on her radar, after her high school experience was impacted by COVID, she knew she wanted to make the most of her college experience.
“That started with Kappa Delta,” Kruse said. “I say this because Kappa Delta really kick-started my NDSU journey in leadership and growth.”
After joining Kappa Delta, Kruse took on the role of Director of Scholarship, serving the chapter by safeguarding and supporting academic excellence. The confidence and support she received from her sisters inspired her to seek out additional campus involvement and leadership, joining student government. Kruse started as a senator and now serves as Executive Commissioner of Access and Opportunity. She also interned for Student Success programs and currently serves as Vice President of Campus Attractions.
As Kruse prepares to graduate, she’s confident her NDSU journey has prepared her to become an impactful resource to fellow Kappa Delta sisters across the United States.
One of 14 Leadership Development Consultants, Kruse will travel around the country supporting KD chapters in a wide variety of activities, by providing education, guidance and support while serving as a mentor and role model for Kappa Delta chapters.
“As an LDC I’m also incredibly grateful for the opportunity and excited to represent the NDSU Sigma Psi Chapter on a national level,” Kruse said.
