NDSU leaders to connect with communities statewide during NDSU Across ND

The NDSU tour in Dickinson, North Dakota.

President Marshall Stewart, First Lady Jan Stewart and university leaders will travel across North Dakota July 7–17 as part of NDSU Across North Dakota, connecting with communities to listen and learn, while sharing how NDSU continues to serve as the people’s university.

This summer marks President Stewart’s first NDSU Across North Dakota and reflects his commitment to being present and engaged in communities across the state early and often. It will be the first of many visits, as he prioritizes ongoing connection with the people and partners who shape North Dakota’s future.

President Stewart, Jan Stewart and university leaders look forward to meeting with community and business leaders, Extension staff, students and elected officials. Each stop is an opportunity to listen, learn and engage in meaningful conversations about the priorities, strengths and opportunities that make each community unique.

Insights gathered during NDSU Across North Dakota will help inform the university’s strategic planning efforts beginning this summer and continuing into the fall. Feedback from a wide range of stakeholders will help guide NDSU as it builds on its mission to serve the state and its people.
