NDSU researchers among the world’s top two percent most-cited scientists for 2025

Researchers from NDSU are among the top 2% of the most cited scientists globally, according to the Science-wide Author Databases of Standardized Citation Indicators. The list was released in Sept. 2026 and is also known as the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% List.

The rankings highlight the most influential scientists across a wide range of disciplines, based on key citation metrics, including the h-index, co-authorship, and adjusted citation counts. The database is updated annually and includes both single-year data (2025 for this edition) and career-long data to reflect ongoing impact and relevance.
