NDSU Giving Day Returns Oct. 27

The NDSU Foundation invites alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and supporters to participate in NDSU Giving Day on Oct. 27, a 24-hour celebration of philanthropy that supports North Dakota State University.

Supporters can begin making gifts before Giving Day, with early giving opening Oct. 20. Gifts made during the early giving period count toward Giving Day totals and help build momentum for the university's annual day of giving.

Now in its 11th year, NDSU Giving Day unites the Bison community in support of scholarships, academics, research, athletics, student organizations and other university priorities.

"Giving Day is one of the most powerful demonstrations of what can happen when the NDSU community comes together around a common purpose," said Sara Wald, vice president of trustee, alumni, and donor relations at the NDSU Foundation. "Every gift and every shared message helps create opportunities for students and strengthens the university's ability to serve North Dakota and beyond."

Community members can participate in several ways:

• Make a gift to the NDSU fund, college, department, scholarship or program that matters most to them.
• Share Giving Day information on social media and with friends, family and colleagues.
• Encourage others to join the effort and help expand participation across the Bison community.
• Become a Giving Day Advocate and use a personalized giving link to inspire support through their networks.

"Every gift reflects a belief in our students and in the opportunities a North Dakota State University education creates. There are many ways to be involved.
