NDSU communication students win award at national competition

Four NDSU strategic communication students recently received a third-place award at the 2025 National Federation of Press Women Communications Contest in Golden, Colorado following their first-place win earlier this year at the North Dakota Professional Communicators annual communicators contest.

Recent graduates April Anderson and Nathan Ambrose, Camille Haman, and current student Elizabeth Leonard, placed in the Collegiate/Education – Public Relations, Social Media or Recruitment/Involvement Campaign category of the communicators contest. The team’s mock public relations campaign for Hershey’s Kisses was originally created in their COMM 377 media planning class.
