The event featured students from at least 40 different first-year and upper-division writing classes within the English Department and other disciplines. Students interacted with visitors to describe their writing projects they’ve been working on over the past semester. Displays ranged from posters to oral presentations.
“The Showcase of Student Writing celebrates NDSU students’ communicative competence and innovation across a variety of genres and disciplines, and it gives them the opportunity to bring their writing outside of the classroom,” said Lisa Arnold, NDSU associate professor of rhetoric and writing.
