NDSU opens renovated Union Market in Memorial Union
Dining options include made-to-order meals, customizable stations, and convenient pre-packaged items to accommodate busy student schedules.
NDSU celebrated the grand opening of the renovated Union Market, a modernized dining space in the lower level of the Memorial Union, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
The updated Union Market offers students, faculty and staff a reimagined dining experience featuring expanded food stations, fresh grab-and-go selections and streamlined ordering through new self-service kiosks. The renovation also includes a refreshed seating area designed to encourage community and connection at the heart of campus.
Speakers at the ribbon cutting were Megan Hubbard, director of Memorial Union operations and event services; Karin Hegstad, NDSU associate vice president for finance and administration; Roxanne England, director of Dining Services; and Caleb Jarvis, NDSU student body vice president. Following the brief ceremony, attendees toured the space and explored its new amenities.
Union Market serves as the primary dining location in the Memorial Union and has been updated to meet the needs of a growing campus community. Dining options include made-to-order meals, customizable stations, and convenient pre-packaged items to accommodate busy student schedules.
