NDSU Takeover Day at Startup Brew April 1

StartupBrew NDSU Takeover Day happens April 1, 2026

On Wednesday, April 1, NDSU will take over StartupBREW Fargo in Barry Hall downtown at 811 Second Avenue North in Fargo.

StartupBREW is a weekly networking event for entrepreneurs, innovators, creatives and community members to share and learn more about the entrepreneurial community.

This spring’s NDSU takeover will feature two NDSU alumnae.

This year’s speakers are:

  • Daniella Jasper-Okumagba is Founder and CEO of The BRDGE, dedicated to making ethnic food more accessible through connecting food lovers with home-style meals and sourcing diverse catering for companies and event venues. She is also Director of Sales with Rocket Receipts.
  • Jess Mouw is founder of Local Littles, a space for families to shop small and support local makers, which she launched in 2024 while on maternity leave.

Random Act of Art

Current NDSU student Riley Meinert will perform “Three Impractical Short Dances” on clarinet. The piece was composed by NDSU student Jonathon Erickson.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. with Coffee Club, when attendees can mingle and connect with other community members, business owners, and entrepreneurs. The program runs from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
