NDSU was named best college in the Red River Valley by an online vote of Inforum.com readers in the newspaper’s 17th annual Best of the Red River Valley competition.
Nominations for the competition opened in August and closed in October. More than 225,000 votes were cast by 14,665 Inforum.com readers, who picked their favorite businesses and organizations in more than 130 categories.
Laura McDaniel, NDSU Associate Vice President for University Relations, said NDSU is appealing to students from the region and beyond.
“NDSU appeals to students who want big city amenities and a close-knit community feel,” McDaniel told the newspaper. “Students get involved in the community and work hands-on with research, entrepreneurial ventures and have opportunities for work and recreation.”
