NDSU’s 2025–2026 Phi Kappa Phi Student Lectureship Award recipient, Ruhaimatu Abudu, is set to present her award-winning research on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. in Barry Hall’s room 118.

Abudu is a transportation and supply chain doctoral student in the Department of Finance, Supply Chain and Transportation. Her presentation is titled “How Digital Twins Can Support Supply Chain Endurance After Disruptions.”

Abudu’s research focuses on supply chain resilience, with particular emphasis on disruption response, endurance and transportation systems. She works under the supervision of Alfredo Roa-Henriquez, an assistant professor of supply chain management. Abudu’s work uses empirical analysis and simulation to study how firms and supply chain networks adapt after disruptions.

Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and most selective multidisciplinary collegiate honor society, bringing together a global network of outstanding scholars and professionals. NDSU is proud to partner with the NDSU Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi to offer the Student Lectureship Award, which recognizes academic excellence across disciplines and promotes engagement within the scholarly community.

Following Abudu’s presentation, cake and refreshments will be served in recognition of her accomplishments.
