Non-degree, graduate student admission fee waived

NDSU is waiving application fees for all non-degree graduate applicants through Dec. 15, opening the door for professionals, community members and recent graduates to explore graduate-level coursework without the usual upfront cost.
The temporary waiver applies to anyone with a bachelor’s degree who wants to enroll in graduate courses without pursuing a full degree program. Transcripts and supplemental materials are not required for non-degree admission, and applicants who begin an application before the deadline will have their fee removed automatically within one to two days, according to the NDSU Graduate School.
The opportunity allows learners to build skills, explore new fields, or prepare for future graduate study. Many spring 2026 courses are open to non-degree students across multiple colleges, including business, computer science, education, arts and sciences and health, nutrition and exercise sciences.
NDSU’s spring offerings for non-degree students span multiple colleges and disciplines, giving learners the chance to explore new interests or sharpen professional skills.
Available courses include options in sport finance, publishing, marketing strategy, predictive analytics, computer programming, data structures, leadership and nonprofit management, international marketing and collegiate environments.
Students also can choose from creative areas like integrated marketing communications and hands-on subjects such as fraud examination or consumer behavior. With dozens of graduate-level classes open across campus, non-degree students can build a schedule that fits their goals while sampling fields they’ve always wanted to try.
The waived fee is designed to make graduate-level learning more accessible to anyone looking to advance their career, explore new opportunities, or strengthen their professional skills. Many courses are offered online or in hybrid formats, making them accessible to learners both on and off campus.
The list of open courses is not exhaustive. Prospective students are encouraged to browse NDSU’s full course offerings or contact academic departments directly to confirm eligibility for specific courses.
Applications for non-degree admission can be started online, and the fee will be waived automatically if the process begins by Dec. 15, 2025. The offer is open to the public and may be shared broadly with friends, colleagues and community members interested in expanding their education.
