Martin Luther King Jr. film to be shown at NDSU

The Office of Multicultural Programs is set to sponsor a showing of a documentary film highlighting the last years of the life of Martin Luther King Jr.

King In the Wilderness” is scheduled to be shown Friday, Jan. 14, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Anishinaabe Theater of the Memorial Union.

The documentary will examine King’s role in the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and follow his life until he was assassinated in 1968.

Refreshments will be served in the Butte Lounge before the film.

The event is free and open to the public.
