Baishali Rahman is a Research Specialist for the Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth. Her work focuses on the impacts of immigrants on the U.S. economy, with particular expertise in economics, finance, and transportation and supply chain. She brings our mission to life each day through impactful research affecting our area and effectively communicates the results through both academic and public-facing efforts.

Baishali is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Transportation and Logistics from North Dakota State University. Before joining NDSU, she worked for over 10 years for the Central Bank of Bangladesh. Additionally, she holds an M.S. in Agribusiness and Applied Economics from North Dakota State University and an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and a BBA in Marketing, both from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
