Capt Lee Olson

Captain Olson is an Air Force ROTC instructor at Detachment 610, North Dakota State University, in Fargo, North Dakota. His primary duties include leading, recruiting, and training prospective officers on USAF & USSF foundations, history, leadership & national security affairs.

Captain Olson enlisted in the Air Force in April 2005 and graduated Basic Military Training from Lackland AFB. In August 2005 he graduated Medical Material technical training at Sheppard AFB. He spent seven years in the Medical Logistics career field before starting a five-year, Missile Alert Facility Manager, special duty at Malmstrom AFB in 2011. Captain Olson commissioned from Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB in 2017. He completed technical training on the Minuteman III Missile system at Vandenberg AFB in 2017 and accomplished his crew time at Minot AFB where he served as the Assistant Chief, Standards & Evaluations. Captain Olson arrived at NDSU in November of 2023 currently serves as the Education and Recruiting officer.
