Areas of Study & Research
My main areas of interest are the intersections of sex, culture, pleasure, and power, with an eye towards rectifying gaps in the literature where oppressed or underprivileged people and communities have been ignored in the research. I study women’s sexual pleasure, indigenous archaeologies, and the intersections of both of these issues with social power and economic equity. My methods are predominantly qualitative and community-based.
