Clairmont L. Clementson, Ph.D., P.E., PMP is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at North Dakota State University, where he teaches courses in postharvest technology, bioprocess engineering, and bio-based energy. His research focuses on postharvest operations of grains, oilseeds, and agricultural commodities, with emphasis on drying kinetics, thermodynamic properties, grain quality preservation, and material handling.

Dr. Clementson earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from Purdue University, his M.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and his B.Eng. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Guyana. He is a registered Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional with over two decades of combined academic, research, and industry experience with international collaborations.

Dr Clementson has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, delivered invited talks internationally. He is an active member of ASABE, and is committed to advancing sustainable agricultural engineering solutions through research, extension, and mentorship.
