Dr. Connie M. Koski is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice in the Department of Criminal Justice at North Dakota State University (NDSU). She has been employed by NDSU since 2004. She teaches courses in policing, investigation, criminal courts systems and criminal law and procedure. Her research explores collective efficacy and formal and informal social control in neighborhoods, perceptions of policing, and high impact pedagogical practices in teaching criminology and criminal justice, and her work has been published in a variety of outlets including peer-reviewed journals and edited books. Dr. Koski is also the co-author of one Introduction to Policing textbook. Dr. Koski currently serves the discipline at a national level as an Executive Counselor and Awards Committee Chair of the American Society of Criminology Division of Policing, and has previously served as a member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences Criminal Justice (ACJS) Month Awards Committee and the Social Media Chair for the ACJS Policing Division and the American Society of Criminology Division of People of Color and Crime.
