Heidi Eukel is a tenured Professor in the School of Pharmacy at North Dakota State University (NDSU) in Fargo, ND. She serves as an instructor in the pharmacy practice skills laboratories with a focus on patient education, communication, and advanced community pharmacy practice. She is passionate about creating learning opportunities which are engaging and equip the next generation of pharmacist for the future of pharmacy practice. Heidi’s research focuses on the design and evaluation of various teaching innovations with a focus on hands-on application of skills and knowledge. She is a researcher with the Opioid and Naloxone Education (ONE) Program, which focuses on upstream prevention of opioid-related harms. She serves as a scientist with the Center for Collaboration and Advancement in Pharmacy at NDSU. She has been recognized nationally by AACP, APhA, NAPT, and PLS for her contributions to the profession.
