Jason Kost is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Landscape Architecture Program at the School of Design, Architecture + Art. He earned his degrees from North Dakota State University and the University of Colorado, holding both a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Urban Design. Jason is a Registered Landscape Architect in North Dakota. Since 2010, he has focused his academic teaching interests on urban design, site planning, and construction practices. Additionally, he possesses advanced knowledge and teaching experience in graphic design and communication, serving as the lead instructor for the program’s digital technology courses. In his free time, Jason enjoys biking, playing board games, and spending time with his wife, Tammy, and their twin sons, Anders and Brennan.
