Areas of Study & Research
My research interests focus on historical archaeology, feminist anthropology, and slavery. I aim to understand how societies worked in the past and how that shapes the world we live in today. By studying history through things people left behind, looking at how gender and power affected people’s lives, and understanding the long-lasting effects of slavery, we can uncover forgotten stories and give attention to groups who were ignored.
