Seinquis Leinen

Seinquis Leinen serves as Senior Director of Strategic Enrollment Management at North Dakota State University, where she provides leadership for undergraduate admission, financial aid, scholarships, and enrollment strategy initiatives that support student access and success. Since joining NDSU in 2014, she has contributed to advancing the university's enrollment management efforts through strategic planning, student-centered innovation, and collaborative leadership, guiding teams dedicated to helping students achieve their educational goals.

With more than 15 years of experience in higher education, Seinquis has served students across three institutions within the North Dakota University System, including NDSU, Minot State University, and the University of North Dakota. Throughout her career, she has focused on expanding access to higher education, improving the student experience, and has guided prospective students and families through the college search, admission, and financial aid processes.

Seinquis’ work has centered on creating more responsive, student-focused enrollment experiences. Her work has included efforts to reduce admission decision timelines, enhance communications throughout the enrollment journey, implement modern recruitment technology, strengthen outreach and engagement strategies, and expand scholarship opportunities for students. These initiatives have contributed to a more accessible and efficient enrollment experience and helped connect students with resources that support their success

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Seinquis brings together partners from across campus to address complex enrollment and student success challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and advance initiatives that support learners throughout their educational journey. Her approach emphasizes building strong relationships, fostering innovation, and aligning enrollment strategies with institutional goals and student needs.

Seinquis earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of North Dakota and a master's degree in educational administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She believes higher education has the power to transform lives and strengthen communities, and her work is grounded in a commitment to reducing barriers, expanding opportunities, and creating pathways that support the success of all learners.
